Oceanside Generals and First Responders Charity Hockey Game - January 30
The Parksville Firefighters Association Charitable Fund’s next event is to take part in a charity hockey game between the Oceanside Generals and local first responders (police, fire ambulance, Canadian Forces, nurses and doctors). The game is set for Friday, January 30 at 7 pm at Oceanside Place. All proceeds from the hockey game will benefit ALS Canada in support of the wife of a Parksville firefighter diagnosed with ALS, and Wounded Warriors Canada to support Parksville firefighter Karen Petraschuck, one of eight chosen as part of the Wounded Warriors team to run on Vancouver Island.
